What is the Adult Summer Reading Program?
An opportunity for adults to read books and win prizes this summer.

Who can participate?
Adult Clackamas County library card holders. If you don’t have a library card, just ask at the Circulation Desk and we will help you get one.

What can I read?
Anything you want! The Tic-Tac-Toes require books (print, digital, or audio) and graphic novels. Reading Logs have no limits; read books, magazines, newspapers, blog posts - whatever you like to read.

How do I sign-up?
There is no sign-up.

So what do I do?
Read! Choose how you want to play: Tic-Tac-Toe or Reading Logs, or both.

Pick up a Tic-Tac-Toe card (regular or diabolical) and read books in the different genres to make 3 squares in a row. When you have finished a book, write the book’s title and author in the appropriate square. When you have a Tic-Tac-Toe, turn in the Tic-Tac-Toe Card at the Library. Each Tic-Tac-Toe Card you turn in (limit of 5) will give you another entry in the Grand Prize Drawing. Last day to turn in Tic-Tac-Toe Cards is Monday, August 31.

Three books too much pressure? Want more freedom in what you read? Then read 20 minutes a day for 20 days and complete a Reading Log! Each Reading Log you turn in (limit of 4) will give you another entry into the Grand Prize Drawing. Last day to turn in Reading Logs is Monday, August 31.

When is the Grand Prize Drawing?
The Grand Prize Drawing will be held Tuesday, September 1.

What are the prizes?
Prizes include a Kindle e-reader, museum memberships, movie tickets and gift certificates to local businesses.

It all starts Monday, June 8. Stop by the Library to pick up the forms, or download the packet here. Maybe you'll find that next great read!
