Friends of the Library

The Wilsonville Friends of the Library organization supports the Library and helps enhance its value to the community. Since 2004, the Friends have donated over $200,000 to the library. These funds were used to purchase materials for the Library's collections; provide Cultural Passes, which allow free access to cultural attractions throughout the Portland Metro area; support the Library's Spanish Language Storytime; and fund the Library's Summer Reading Program.

The Friends meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Oak Room in the Library.

Friends of the Library - MISSION & Goals

The organization's mission is to enhance the Library's value throughout the community. The organization's goals support the mission and include the following: Provide financial support to the library by overseeing the Twice Sold Tales bookstore, soliciting memberships, and organizing small-scale fundraising activities. Develop awareness of Library services that inform, educate, and entertain. Support children's interest in reading and learning. Facilitate volunteering at the Library.

Twice Sold Tales Bookstore
Visit the Friends' Twice Sold Tales Bookstore. The store is open during Library open hours and sells a wide variety of donated books, CDs, movies, and other items.
